Royd Court in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, has been designed both as an assisted living housing scheme and a community for independent older Christians. Over two-thirds of the flats have been taken since it was opened in December 2006 and a "Friends of Royd Court" support group, which includes occupants as well as supporters, meets regularly.

Royd Court has been designed to clear away worries about growing old and frail and needing personal care in your day to day living. Advice and support is available from our friendly onsite management team, and should you need personal care, you will be assessed and will receive domiciliary care in your own home in the scheme, which can be provided by Pilgrim Care, our domiciliary care agency.

There are 58 one-bedroom and two-bedroom flats and a range of other facilities, such as laundry, a restaurant, a hair-dressing salon and assisted bathrooms.
