Revd Roger Hitchings is a retired pastor, and former Trustee of the London Theological Seminary and of the Pilgrims’ Friend Society. He has worked extensively in the fields of ageing and disability and once managed the largest provision of day care for Alzheimer’s sufferers in the country. He is much in demand as a speaker, and contributes to Christian media. Louise Morse, MA (CBT) is a cognitive behavioural therapist; Christian writer, researcher and author of several books on dementia (Lion Hudson and SPCK). She manages media and external affairs with the Pilgrims’ Friend Society, and contributes to Christian media. Louise also has a blog, http://blog.pilgrimsfriend.org, and a Facebook page, ‘Books – Louise Morse’. Dr Jennifer Bute, FRCGP, was a GP when diagnosed with young-onset dementia in 2009. She has adapted the evidence-based rehabilitation principles of a leading Japanese neurologist and runs memory enhancing work-groups in the dementia inclusive retirement village where she now lives. Dr Bute lectures at medical conferences and is a speaker at various Christian events. Her book, ‘Dementia from the Inside: a Doctor’s Personal Journey of Hope,’ written with Louise Morse and published by SPCK, has been reprinted three times since it was published in November 2018.
