VE Day celebrations How this special day was commemorated across our homes and housing schemes For those who were alive at the time, VE Day has special significance. Over the weekend, the day was marked by our homes and housing schemes in a host of ways, from observing the two-minute silence, to singing wartime songs and enjoying afternoon tea with a VE Day twist. Thank you to all our staff who worked so hard to make it such a special occasion.
