Nine residents and eight members of staff at Florence House have tested positive for coronavirus over the last week.

Regular testing is in place and we have a clear understanding of the situation, which allows us to take all the appropriate steps to protect those who live and work at Florence House.

We have been, and continue to be, taking all precautionary steps to safeguard those who live and work in the home, and there have been no known breaches of infection control. We have met with local public health bodies who are satisfied with the measures that have been put in place.

Residents are currently being cared for as usual, and precautions are continuing to be taken. Staff are working extremely hard to protect the residents from the virus while also maintaining some sense of normal life in the home as far as possible.

Please do pray for the health and well-being of the residents during a difficult time, and please also pray for the staff team as they continue to work hard to provide wonderful care in a loving environment.
