Leonora Home, Chippenham

The Pilgrims’ Friend Society residential home Wood Lane, Chippenham has been serving the people of the town for more than 45 years and will continue to offer care until the new home is opened.

Rated “Good” by the Care Quality Commission, Leonora Home provides person-centred residential care for up to 20 people, including those with dementia, who can enjoy a range of stimulating activities in the warm, homely setting of an adapted and extended Victorian house. The home has attractive gardens with sheltered seating and views of the Wiltshire countryside.

In keeping with our Christian ethos, there are daily devotional times taking a variety of forms, including two services a week, Bible study, prayer meetings and communion. These are led by staff, residents and volunteers from the local churches. The home is well supported by the local Friends Group who befriend the residents and visit them on a regular basis. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at any time during the day.

If you choose to make your home with us at Leonora, when the time comes for the new home to open, we will take care of all the details to make the transition as smooth as possible and do our utmost to help you settle into your new home at Middlefields.

We would love to show you around Leonora and request that you call us first to arrange a suitable time as this allows us to allocate a member of staff to answer your questions.
