Redbourn is an historic village in rural Hertfordshire, and has won several national community awards, including overall Village of the Year, in 2002.

The scheme was opened in 1967 by Redbourn Missionary Trust to provide fully equipped accommodation for missionaries and their families coming back to the UK on home leave, together with apartments for retired missionaries.  The scheme has been owned and run by Pilgrims’ Friends Society since 2012.

Redbourn offers five, fully equipped houses for missionary home leave and four apartments for retired missionaries. The apartments have two bedrooms and an attractive, communal garden. The houses have three bedrooms and are fully equipped.
