Retirement housing

Moving to your own home within one of our Christian communities enables you to retain your independence with the extra support and security you need as you grow older. Our schemes offer different levels of support and there is flexibility within each scheme to purchase wellbeing packages to create just the right service for you.

Most of our properties, depending on location, also benefit from communal facilities such as laundry, lounge, gardens or a guest room for families and friends for an overnight stay. You will find the facilities available at each scheme on the page for that scheme. To find a property that is right browse through our Locations section.

Retirement Living

We offer a wide range Retirement Living places available to rent at affordable prices. The different types of accommodation ranges from bungalows set in their own gardens to apartments within easy reach of a town centre, so you’ll find something to suit you and your needs. With your own front door, you’re free to come and go as you please.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet new friends and benefit from support or help if or when you need it. Family and friends are welcome to come and see you at any time. If friends and family coming for a longer visit or travelling from further afield to see you, they can stay overnight, as many of our retirement living places have guest rooms available for a small charge.

Enjoy the benefits of a safe and secure Christian community and 24-hour access to an emergency call centre at our self-contained accommodation designed to help you live independently. You can also benefit from help in applying for benefits or official form-filling. The basic support charge is included in the monthly payment.

Retirement living does not provide personal care. If you are uncertain about whether or not that is something that you want you should speak to the manager of the location that you are interested in.

Retirement Living Plus

Retirement Living Plus is available at all our housing schemes and provides the option of purchasing a variety of Wellbeing Packages to suit individual needs. Wellbeing Packages include the provision of meals, cleaning, laundry, ironing etc. These packages may need to change from time to time, as your needs change; our setup is flexible enough for you to move between schemes and to enable us to adapt our level of support to your changing requirements.

Package 1            Two hours per week cleaning and laundry

Package 2            One hour cleaning OR laundry per week

Package 3            One hour ironing per week

Package 4            One hour shopping per week

Package 5            Meal package- lunch only, daily charge

Package 6            Meal packages- 3 meals per day, 7 days a week

Package 7            Personalised package to meet individual needs

Please note that the types of wellbeing packages available may change and that not every package is available at every location, so please check the details for each individual scheme and/or contact the manager who will also be able to advise you.

Extra Care Housing at Royd Court

Extra care housing is designed with the needs of frailer older people in mind and with varying levels of support available on site and personal care also available from our own team of carers. Extra care housing is also known as very sheltered housing, assisted living, or simply as 'housing with care'.

Extra care housing gives older people with care needs the choice to live in their own home with access to high quality and flexible services. Purpose-built, extra care housing at Royd Court is an alternative to conventional care homes.

At Royd Court in West Yorkshire you’ll have your own spacious private accommodation designed for couples or single people. As your care needs change over time, so too can our level of care and support. This means you can remain independent and have the peace of mind that our dedicated staff are on hand to provide you with the care you need.

Royd Court offers you the option of renting or buying your apartment, with superb communal areas and facilities. And if you have friends living nearby, they can come and join in too.

Domestic support and personal care can be purchased from our onsite Domiciliary Care Service at Royd Court. Wellbeing packages can also be purchased.
