Home Middlefields House About us Get Involved News and updates Back to main site Volunteer Come and support care for the elderly in Chippenham Volunteering at our homes and housing schemes is a rewarding, life-affirming way to put your faith into action and to make a positive difference to people’s lives. Volunteers fulfil many different roles within the home, providing friendship and spiritual support to our residents, leading activities and times of prayer and Bible study, going shopping for the residents and supporting the staff team. Let us know about your interest in volunteering. We really value and are greatly appreciate all the different ways our supporters contribute to our work, whether in prayer, through giving financially, or in the giving of time. We know your time is precious and we will do our best to make sure that every moment you spend volunteering with us will be rewarding both for our residents and for you. That’s why we offer opportunities tailored around the time you can offer, in the areas where your time will have the most impact. Each home also has an Auxiliary group that raises funds for the home and supports the work of Pilgrims' Friend Society. As well as organising fund-raising activities and events, these volunteers also help us make the work of the Society more widely known among churches in their area.
