Simon has a degree in Residential Development from Nottingham-Trent University and has worked in the affordable housing sector for over 30 years working directly for Housing Associations and in consultancy roles. He is a relatively new Christian on a journey of faith having a sea baptism in July 2025 and worships at St Andrews Church, Dibden Purlieu in Hampshire.
Simon is married to Lauren and lives in the New Forest.
