Christmas Appeal 2023
Christmas is a time of giving, commemorating the gift of God to humanity, which is His Son Jesus Christ, who was born on Christmas Day.
Today, the giving of gifts is a way of expressing our love, gratitude, and joy, following the example of the wise men who brought gifts to honour the newborn King. It is a way of showing kindness, generosity, and compassion to those most in need, especially during the cold and dark winter season.
This Christmas, a gift from you will spread joy and cheer, not only to the elderly family members of Pilgrims’ Friend Society, a leading national charity providing over 300 residential care home beds, but to the dedicated teams of people across the country that are committed to caring for them.
That is why today we are asking you to make a donation to help make Christmas special for our family members, over half of whom have complex needs and require specialised care.
