Much progress inside and out!

It’s great to see Middlefields House becoming weathertight ready for the autumn, with roofing and windows being installed as the project continues to be on schedule.
Some sections of the roof have been tiled and solar panels fitted, while others are at the roof truss or felting stages. Indoors, the first stage of mechanical and electrical installations is taking place and the underfloor heating pipework has begun.
Over the next month, we plan to continue with the roofing and windows, and the mechanical and electrical installation, as well as levelling the floors – a process called ‘screeding’ – and starting the drylining and wet plastering of the internal walls.
